**observed <|> observer**
A mirror folded at the pipe — each side defined only by the other.
- The *observed* exists because something attends to it; the *observer* exists because something stands apart to be seen.
- Flip the symmetry: in quantum measurement, observing changes the observed. In introspection, the observer becomes the observed — and the boundary `<|>` dissolves.
- Same root, *observare* — to watch, to keep. One word split by perspective alone: the only difference is which side of the act you're standing on.
The `<|>` reads like a two-way valve: perception flowing both directions at once.
